Emily grew up on a small breeding ranch run by her family near Cerulean. And as such has always been facinated with different and rare pokemon, particulary in looks. Since she was little she always wanted pink electric types, after the dissapointing discovering flaafy was the only one, she gave up on that dream and became a trainer specializing in electric pokemon. After she left to become a trainer her older brother who stayed home to be a breeder decided to make Emily's childhood dream come true and traveled to a small isle in the Orange Archipelago to retrieve something he'd only heard rumors about. After a rigorous, dangerous, difficult and illegal journal he finally obtained some pikan berries. He planted an illegal and hidden orchard and started to expieriment on their effects on pokemon, more specifically pregnant ones. Though tough breeding, he managed to complete one of the toughest challenges he'd ever had and not only bred a hard to breed pokemon but pink ones whose color would stick, as his younger sister's favorite pokemon couldn't just eat the pikan berry for it couldn't eat. When Emily came back to visit she was overjoyed to recieve two new pokemon, that were the most unique she'd ever seen. Thanking her brother with all her heart she left for Hoenn for she heard of a new type of battling that not only involved skill for training but an eye for beauty and other physical virtues. She became a coordinator and started living her dream.

-Emily's pokemon were illegally created as its against the law to even step on pinkan island, much less steal its special berries. Luckily they cannot eat and therefore are disguised as pokemon that are pink for some other reason, as EVERYONE knows the only way to get a pinkan pokemon is to feed it the berries, and her pokemon can't feed. So even though she's been showing them off at contests she or her brother haven't been arrested yet.

-Although Emily's pokemon are genderless she never refers to them as its. When she does use the terms "he" and "she" with them it may be a different gender then she last mentioned them. Referring to the same pokemon as he in one sentence and she in another.

-Emily loves lightning storms but actually dislikes rain. She hates the feeling of it on her skin and doesn't like how it'll block her view from awesome lightning displays.

-Techno and Beat's pokeballs are painted like shown in the ref.

Species: Electrode
Ability: Static
Type: Electric
Techno is Emily's favorite of the two, it likes to follow her around and will often ram into people after rolling to gain speed. For an electrode it doesn't actually seem to explode that much, but that doesn't mean it won't. Very affectionate, Techno will often rub up against Emily's legs, or just lean against her. It never really leaves her side and is loyal even if it doesn't always listen to her every order. It enjoys eating electricity from pinkan electric types that CAN eat the berry, and rolling down hills.

Species: Magnemite
Ability: Sturdy
Type: Electric/Steel
Beat is treasured by Emily mostly because of the diversity of colors in its "pink" breeding. It considers itself to be more mature and looks down apon Techno, both literally and physically. It's often watching the electrode for this reason hoping he won't ram into another person and embarrass Beat again. Still its friends with Techno and won't run off or anything, though often will wander astray and float around other trainers like it belonged to them not Emily. Although pessimistic it has full confidence that it can win nearly every time, even if that's totally not true. Pretty humorless and serious, it means business.



EDIT: Beat's magnet's are supposed to be reversed like a normal magnemites, the picture is currently wrong
